Scholarships for Visiting Professors from the Nokia Foundation in 2022
Nokia Visiting Professors grants are provided to meritorious Finnish professors working at prestigious international universities in the field of information and communications technology, or to prominent foreign professors working in Finland (ICT).
The visit must last at least two months. Visitors to Finland are usually required to participate in research, deliver lectures, and collaborate with Finnish businesses.
About Nokia Foundation
The Nokia Foundation was founded in August 1995 as an effort of Nokia Oyj to promote and support scientific advancement and education in Finland’s information and telecommunications technology industries.
In addition to techniques from other scientific fields, such as social, behavioural, business, and service sciences, multidisciplinary research in these areas is highly valued.
The Foundation offers annual grants and awards to the most qualified applicants to assist it to achieve its purpose. The Foundation’s Board of Directors makes decisions.
