Medium 2022 Storytelling Through Augmented Reality (Workshops and Grants)

Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience of a real-world environment in which real-world objects are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities such as visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory, and olfactory.

The “Storytelling through AR Workshops” will take place in three cities across East Africa over the course of two days.

Ten to fifteen interdisciplinary artists will participate in discussions and exercises in each city, becoming acquainted with some key AR tools in order to think creatively about how AR can serve artistic practice. The organizers will provide all meals during the workshop.
