University of Manchester UK 2022 Equity And Merit Scholarships For International Students

The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals set the direction toward a better, more sustainable future for all. Our Equity and Merit Scholarships aim to empower young professionals in the Global South to deliver solutions to meet these interlinked goals.

Equity and Merit Scholarships are for academically excellent students who have the potential to make a significant contribution to sustainable development in their home countries.

The awards are intended for those who cannot afford to study in Manchester without a scholarship.

We are committed to a policy of equal opportunity and all applications are considered on their merit. We particularly encourage women to apply.

About University of Manchester

The University of Manchester, in its present form, was created in 2004 by the amalgamation of the Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

After 100 hundred years of working closely together both institutions agreed to form a single university, and on 22 October 2004 they officially combined to form the largest single-site university in the UK.

Each has an innovative and inspiring history which we continue to build on, through ground-breaking research and as a centre of educational excellence
