2022 Google Conference Scholarships for African Students

At Google, we think that in order to create tools that have the potential to transform the world, a variety of skills, backgrounds, and viewpoints are required. We also think that everyone should have the chance to explore professional connections, peer networking, and a career in technology.

We’re pleased to announce Google Conference Scholarships for specific conferences in the technology industry and allied fields in an effort to reduce the obstacles that prohibit underrepresented groups in business and technology from attending top conferences.

About Google

Google LLC is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engines, cloud computing, software, and hardware. It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, alongside Amazon, Apple, and Facebook. Google was founded in September 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were PhD students at Stanford University in California. The company’s rapid growth since incorporation has triggered a chain of products, acquisitions, and partnerships beyond Google’s core services.
